This type is actually based on something, er… some place that is quite meaningful to me. Green-Wood Cemetery, if you haven’t been, is an incredibly special experience. It’s a lovely place that honors the dead with beauty and grace. And a lot of the older gravestone markers have some pretty amazing type on them. That is what this particular face is inspired by. I love Green-Wood, so I tried to honor it in my own (VERY) small way.
