I hate those shitty, long winded third person pretentious bullshit bios with the passion of a1000 suns. And not the red supergiants that are on their way out either, but like a 1000 Alpha Centauri that are lighting up the night sky for billions of light years. So I’ll try and explain what’s going on here like a regular human.
Here goes. This site is a portfolio of freeform compositions that I’ve been fucking around with.
These freeform compositions started out as a deliberate way of breaking myself out of my design rut. I love grids, I love clever alignments and complex systems with all my heart. But I feel like I was using those things as a crutch, and my design work was becoming boring and lazy. I’m not saying this whole dalliance with chaos is the greatest thing since variable width superfamilies of fonts. But it’s been neat for me, and oddly therapeutic.
